James David Murphy December 19, 1929 to October 31, 2009 Our amazing, wonderful, giving, loving father died on Saturday, October 31. We are filled with grief at his passing, but know he is in a better place. We can't imagine life without him. He was the center of our world. We found a handwritten copy of a Henry Van Dyke poem that was tucked away with his special papers. It is so beautiful... “Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”
We are twin sisters who own a small antique shop called Robins in the Trundle Bed. We specialize in antique and vintage clothing and accessories, antique linens, and all things whimsical. We discovered this antique photo and immediately fell in love. We simply couldn't resist a photograph of shop girls in their starched white aprons having teatime in front of the most glorious window. We can only imagine the conversation that flew across the crisp linen cloth. We would love to join in and tell them about our latest finds. Visit Trundle Bed Times often to read about our antiquing adventures and what is new in our shop!
