As Labor Day is winding down, the unofficial end of summer is here. The days are getting shorter and the trees in New England are just beginning to show some color. Pumpkins are ready at the farmer's markets and pick you own apple season has begun. Here are some photos that we took last autumn in New England.

Our Great Finds...

This weekend's flea marketing yieled some great finds from an 1840's leather carriage trunk to an Edwardian night gown to a great old clock face to early pink lustre wear and many other whimsical treasures!

Treasure Hunting

Here are photographs of some new finds!! The shabby chic green display case is one of our favorite recents finds. We love the way the statue we found earlier this summer fits in it!! The wood underneath the chippy green paint is wonderful, but we love the shabby look! We think the apothecary jars would look fab in the case too! It will be making its way into the shop soon. Who knows what treasures we will display in it.
We have displayed the vintage statue of Venus with beautiful pink sea fans! We're looking forward to brocanting in the morning! We love a treasure hunt!
